James was born in West Central, Arkansas and started serving the Lord through the music ministry in several of the churches his father pastored. In 1964 he was called to Baseline Baptist Church in Little Rock to lead the music ministry. His love for his Savior Jesus Christ is evident in his love for God’s people and the unsaved. When you meet James Bull you have made a friend in the Lord without exception. James also holds the position of Church Administrator and the all around go-to-guy. James and Julia reside in Texarkana, Arkansas where they enjoy time with their seven grandchildren as often as possible.

carlahemby_240x300 Carla Hemby serves as church secretary for County Avenue Baptist Church. Carla accepted this position in 2004 and has greatly improved the efficiency in everything that is processed through our church office; it is often said she could organize a tornado! Although, her efforts in computerizing all our records and creating a network of office equipment has helped as well. Carla was born and raised in Camden, Arkansas where she attended Immanuel Baptist Church. Carla, her husband Tracy, and two children joined County’s church family in 1997. The Lord has certainly blessed CABC with such a qualified office manager and quality family. The Hemby family resides in Texarkana, Arkansas.
